Welcome to the Family page of the Assembly Rooms web page. Going to the theatre as a family can be costly - so we have designed our Family Card with this in mind. The family card costs just £9 per year, which could pay for itself in just one visit! It entitles a family of up to 6 people to get a discount on family shows highlighted in our brochure, along with other exclusive benefits.
A trip to the theatre is a magical and educational experience that is remembered long after the curtain has gone down on a performance!

Ahoy Shipmates! Scotland’s favourite children’s entertainers, The Singing Kettle are setting sail for a thrilling singalong voyage to a tropical paradise. They soon discover that plundering pirates have made off with the precious cargo of treasure kettles and taken the booty back to their hideout on Pirate Island. There’s lots of nautical nonsense and songs to join in with, including “Pirate Crew”, “The Drunken Sailor” and “Over the Irish Sea”. Even Bonzo the Dog will be invited to walk the plank.
Pirate Island is a treasure trove of fun for girls and boys of all ages. There may even be a chance to dress up on stage!

Terms and Conditions
o Membership to the Assembly Rooms and Guildhall Theatre ‘Family Card’ scheme is valid for 12 complete months, expiring on the last day of the month the following year irrespective of the date of the month you joined (for example join on the 15th December 2005 and your membership will expire 31st December 2006)
o The Assembly Rooms and Guildhall Theatre reserves the right to amend the ‘Family Card’ offers at any time
o Family Cards are valid for up to 6 people
o Only one 2 for 1 tciket offer per membership for each valid show
o Family Cards for the Assembly Rooms and Guildhall Theatre membership cannot be issued until payment has been received
o Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment
o Family Card membership cannot be transferred
