Postal Bookings If these booking methods are inconvenient for you, you can make a postal booking by sending details of the show you wish to see accompanied by a cheque made payable to 'Derby City Council' and a S.A.E. to the address above and the tickets will be sent 14 days after receipt of your cheque. Postal requests received less than 14 days before the performance date will be held at the Assembly Rooms Box Office for collection.
Payment Both credit and debit cards are accepted for payment. Credit cards incur a £1.00 booking fee and postage will incur a charge of 50p. When collecting tickets the card used for payment will need to be seen. All cheques should be made payable to 'Derby City Council'.
Wheelchair Users At present it isn't possible for wheelchair users to book their tickets using the on-line booking system. If you would like to make a booking and a member of your party is a wheelchair user, please e-mail us (boxoffice@derby.gov.uk) with your contact details and we'll get in touch with you to ensure that all of your needs are catered for.
Concessions and Discounts For certain shows, concessions apply to under 16s, over 60s, unemployed, disabled people and full-time students. Proof is required. Unique discounts are also available to B-line cardholders on selected shows. Please contact the Box Office.
Special offers, discounts and concessions cannot be combined. We may from time to time offer tickets at prices other than appear in this brochure; it is not possible to include tickets already purchased in any future special offer.
Please note that from 5 September 2005 the Assembly Rooms and Guildhall Theatre will be No Smoking venues, in line with Council policy.

Gift Vouchers and National Theatre Tokens We can offer and redeem both Assembly Rooms and Guildhall Theatre Gift Vouchers and National Theatre Tokens. Our Gift Vouchers are available in denominations of £1, £5 and £10. National Theatre Tokens are welcome at over 200 theatres nationwide, including all of London’s West End. Theatre Tokens are available in denominations of £1, £5, £10 and £20 and they have no expiry date.
Group Bookings We welcome group bookings and we offer group discounts for many of our shows. Short-term block reservations can be made for group bookings. Contact our dedicated Group Booking Line on 01332 255 808 to reserve your seats.
Reservations, Re-Sales and Refunds Reservations can be made for all performances but can only be held for a period of 48 hours. The re-sale of any tickets purchased will be accepted at the discretion of the Box Office, tickets available take priority before returns are offered for sale. All tickets are non-returnable or refundable except in the event of a cancellation.

- Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded.
- You must not use cameras or recording equipment during the performance.
- All mobile phones and pagers must be turned off during the performance.
- Latecomers will only be allowed into the venue during a suitable break in the performance, which may be in the interval.
- Patrons are admitted to the venue subject to the conditions of entry, which are available on request.
