Angelina’s Star Performance brings the magic of Angelina Ballerina to life in her first live performance on stage.

Angelina Ballerina has been given the honour of putting on her very own performance of The Sleeping Beauty for the Queen in her splendid palace. It’s Angelina's biggest challenge yet… will she manage to pull it off?

The show features a cast of eight dancers from the world-renowned English National Ballet and is based on the acclaimed children's books written by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig.

This magical introduction to ballet for children aged 3 and above is a rare treat, as Angelina Ballerina performs her pirouettes and grand jetés in front of a live audience.

"Beautifully recreated picturebook costumes and sets… accessible, entertaining, fun and genuinely touching"

Tchaikovsky    Symphony No. 5

Under its dynamic new Principal Conductor, the RLPO opens the season with Beethoven’s dramatic overture to a play about a renegade Roman general. Two popular works by Tchaikovsky complete the programme. The young Russian-born violinist Eugene Ugorski plays the Violin Concerto, with its mixture of charm, lyricism and headlong excitement. The 5th Symphony includes a ravishing slow movement and one of Tchaikovsky’s finest symphonic waltzes, leading to a barn-storming finale.
